 Wireless door/window transmitter is used to
monitor when a door or window is opened.
 A PIR pet immune
motion detector is a passive infra-red detector that will not see pets of up to a
certain size (Specific to that detector).
 A 2-Line LCD keypad
(Liquid crystal display) is a great feature for easy readability.(This keypad is only
showing one line). With a LCD keypad it is much easier to see what is going on with your
system.
UL Central Station monitoring
is a service that receives signals programmed by the installer in your security panel and
follows the instructions given by the customer on how to respond to the signal received.
UL (Underwriters Laboratory) has written the rules for the central station to follow in
order to be listed. If the central station is not UL you do not know what rules if any
they are using.
 A line carrier device
is a device such as a switch or receptacle which is told to turn on or off by the security
control (As programmed). The control talks to the devices through your existing electrical
wiring.
 Audio interface module
is a module which allows the control to talk to you, let's you listen in on your baby's
sleeping, or can be installed as an intercom at the front door. Basically an intercom
system with many options.
